My ASA talk: Out With The New, In With The Infra: “Love Shack’s” Infraspace and “Hold Up’”s Choreosonic Emergence

At this year’s American Studies Association meeting I’m on a panel with a bunch of other amazing pop music studies scholars on Friday afternoon November 9th from 2:30-3:40. I’m only talking for about 10 minutes, but here is the text of my talk. It’s a clear bridge between some of the work on The Sonic Episteme and some of the new ideas I’m working through.
