True Faith/She Drives Me Crazy

So, last night I was watching VH1 Classic, and the video for Fine Young Cannibals’ “She Drives Me Crazy” was on.

With the paired dancers, bright colors, and sort of carnie/Geek Love aesthetic, it totally reminded me of the video for New Order’s “True Faith”:

Both songs have similar intros and prominent kick track, that are then emphasized in the choreography of the videos. Lo and behold, Wikipedia tells us that the videos were indeed directed by the same person, Philippe Decouflee: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippe_Decoufl%C3%A9
