The Sonic Episteme PODCAST

So, I was supposed to go on a book tour of sorts this spring. For obvious reasons that didn’t happen. So, I thought I’d make a podcast series about the book. Each short episode covers one of the book’s chapters, and includes both some discussion about my thinking in writing the chapter and a reading of an excerpt from that chapter.

Here is the first episode, which covers the book’s introduction.

And here is the second episode, covering chapter 1.

I am going to do some Q&A episodes, but to do that I need your help.

If you have a question you’d like me to answer on the podcast, you can submit it to the email listed on this website’s “about” page in one of two ways:

  1. You can record a voice memo and send me an mp3.
  2. You can write it out in an email and I will read it aloud on the podcast.
    1. If you are a student, I am happy to read your question anonymously, but I am equally as happy to give you credit for your brilliant question. Your choice.

Once I get two or three questions, I’ll record a Q&A episode.

In the meantime, if you don’t already have a copy The Sonic Episteme is available for just under $15 at the Duke UP website until May 25, 2020.
